Phil McGinnis From Dover, Delaware Is A Problem

Phil McGinnis accepted checks from former Republican Senate Leader Greg Lavelle and the former Republican Party Chairman Mike Harrington. It’s clear that Phil McGinnis appeals to Republicans.

This mailer from the Harris campaign perfectly summarizes why no Democrat should ever support Phil McGinnis.

Phil McGinnis has voiced his hate of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Phil McGinnis accepts checks from anti-abortion Republicans. Phil McGinnis wants to enrich real estate companies, even at the expense of our education system. Phil McGinnis is bad for working people.

There’s a reason why Harris was endorsed by the DSEA (the teacher’s union). She will actually make education a priority. Phil McGinnis has already shown through his actions that he values profit above education.

The primary election is on September 13th. Remember that Phil McGinnis is funded by Republicans and corporations.

For someone who calls themselves a Democrat, Phil McGinnis sure does hate Democratic policy. And considering that he has received substantial donations from large corporations and well-known Republicans, it’s no surprise that his policy positions best fit their needs.

If you look at another mailer I received, it’s very clear that McGinnis’s values align with Republicans and major corporations. It seems he’d rather make more money for real estate companies than fund the education system properly.

Remember this on September 13th when you vote in the 32nd District.

Phil McGinnis is bad for Delaware, but do you know how bad? This recent mailer is a perfect encapsulation of why working people should reject him at the ballot box.

According to this flyer from the WFP National PAC (unaffiliated with the campaigns or this website), Phil McGinnis has done some very concerning things.

This mailer says that:

• Phil McGinnis has denied climate change
• Phil McGinnis has complained that “Obamacare wrecked health insurance…”
• Phil McGinnis has taken corporate money (You can check for yourself on the Dept. Of Elections website)
• Phil McGinnis has advocated for a proposal that would cut education funding by millions of dollars

This is a huge problem. Phil McGinnis would be a huge problem for the working people of Delaware, and a boon for corporations and Republicans.
